Back to School Sleep Tips

I hope you are having a fantastic summer! It’s going super fast don’t you think?

As much as I love summer, I also love the idea of my children going back to school so I can get something accomplished!

Summer is exhausting—mostly due to over scheduling and lack of sleep. If you have a preschooler or younger children, you may not have the flexibility to change around their sleep schedules much or your little one will be in meltdown mode. So all the power to you if you kept up with a regular summer sleep schedule.

Those parents with school age children have probably let sleep schedules “go” during summer because generally school aged children can handle some flexibility to their sleep schedule without becoming absolute bears. Later bedtimes also mean later morning wake ups! Which is good for summer, however unfortunately, later morning wake ups are NOT going to fly when school gets back in.

Don’t worry though, this sleep consultant mama has got you covered with some back to school tips! Click on the link below to check out my tips to make the transition back to school smoother.
