Its no secret to those that know me well that I love shiny, sparkly things.  I remember years ago secretly affixing these cheap plastic rhinestones to my bedroom walls with crazy glue.  My parents were livid since during removal they ripped the paint and some drywall right off the walls (and it probably didnt help since it was done at a time when we were trying to ‘sell’ our house).  I was baffled as all I wanted to do was add some extra snazz to the boring white shade that covered my old purple walls.  Can you say boring — I was just trying to give the room a little extra oomph and I just knew the next homeowners would be appreciative of a little extra glitter on the walls — What was the big deal?!

My love for rhinestones and crystals and sparkle started young and 30 years later has showed no signs of slowing down.  Ive always held this livelong dream to have a room made entirely out of rhinestones – if only someone would let me!!!!   Im not sure what the pull is but even to this day whenever I see sequins, or sparkles or crystals I cave and will buy the item.

Most recently I came across shiny tights from American Apparel – for toddlers!
Well, we bought one in pretty much almost every colour available.  They are footless — so perfect for under dresses, skirts or long shirts/cardigans and she loves them!  If you have a love for all things shiny — stop by American Apparel and check out the tights – they may be too flashy for some/most but I have to say I think they are pretty adorable.
