The Nipple Demon

by Ma Thoughts on June 23, 2010 · 0 comments

The lavender candlelight flickers across the infant’s soft limpid cheek, rocking within the curved caress of the gazing, singing, sighing new mother. The wee one’s dulcet squawk; so gentle yet urgent. Mother smiles and slides her pink nipple into the tiny open mouth that carefully draws the warm milk in an opiate rhythm that soothes them both.

Uh-huh.

Small boiling red bald demon head screaming, head twisting, snorting – short — sharp — spurts, burbling and demanding the nipple. Give it to me NOW. Shuddering quivering little mess of possessed vicious truffle pig. Again, demanding NOW. My jaw drops. My eyes bug. I want to laugh, but then I notice that I am pulling out my breast to offer this little voracious pencil sharpener my tender virgin nipple. Instinct. Go figure.
