Consent

Waiver
In consideration of my possible appearance in the Production and without any further compensation:

  1. I give my permission to Sobeys and to others authorized by Sobeys, to use my appearance, name, likeness, voice, person, biographical material, performance, portrait, photograph and recordings of me and/or my post or my content shared on social media channels, and my statements, opinions, claims, representations and/or testimonials therein (collectively referred to as my “Appearance”), including in:
    1. all photographs, film, images, displays and recordings in the Production, whether audio or visual, (“Production Materials”);
    2. in any work derived from any Production Materials; and
    3. all publicity and promotion of the Production Materials, in all manner and media (including without limitation, electronic publishing, posting on the Internet, and other interactive media products) whether now known or hereafter derived, worldwide in perpetuity, regardless of my employment status with Sobeys and in all languages.
  2. Sobeys is not obliged to include my Appearance, and has the right to delete, modify, and edit my Appearance, in Sobeys’ sole discretion.
  3. Sobeys may freely use, translate, adapt, revise, add to, edit and subtract from the Production, my Appearance, and any information, material, scenes and/or situations contained in it and/or given by me to Sobeys. I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished photograph & video or advertising copy or printed matter that may be used in conjunction therewith or to the eventual use that might be applied.
  4. Sobeys may assign, license, transfer or otherwise dispose of or exploit any of these rights in whole or in part without notice to, or further consent from, me being necessary. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, I give my permission to Sobeys to assign, license or transfer these rights to any related entities or to its agents or representatives to include my Appearance in its Production.
  5. I release and indemnify Sobeys, its parent company, affiliates, shareholders, directors, officers, agents, representatives, and other personnel from all claims that I or any third party may have resulting from my participation in the Production and any use of my Appearance in accordance with this Consent and Release.
  6. In no event shall I be entitled for any reason whatsoever to interfere with the distribution or exploitation of the Production or its advertising or publicity.
  7. I am not under the age of nineteen (19) years and I have read, understood and agree to the foregoing OR

    8. If under 19 years of age, Parent or Guardian Agreement: I have read, understood, and agree to the foregoing.  I am the parent or legal guardian of the individual named in the above Consent and Release, who is a minor, and I agree that we are both bound by the terms of this Consent and Release.
