Canada Day 2022 in Nanaimo
Join us this Canada Day for live entertainment (the Midnights, Doctors of Rock n Roll, Mark Crissinger and Dave Hart), crafts, games, bouncy castles, kayaking, interactive booths, food vendors, a multi-cultural community stage and so much more! FREE FAMILY FUN!
With limited on-site parking at Maffeo Sutton Park, we are encouraging residents to either take the bus or ride their bike.
- A bike valet will be available at Maffeo Sutton Park for the first time! Ride your bike and drop it off for FREE in a secured location. You will be given a ticket when you check your bike in and then you can go about enjoying the event knowing your bike is safe. This service is available from 9 am to 5 pm.
- A FREE transit shuttle (courtesy of RDN Transit) will provide opportunities to leave your car off-site and get a ride to the park. Pick-up locations are Woodgrove Centre (near the transit exchange) and at VIU (location still to be determined).
