Summit Park Pumpkin Parade

Put your jack ‘o lantern on display for the whole neighbourhood to admire at the Pumpkin Parade on Nov 1st!

Bring your jack o’lantern, and stay for a fabulous performance by the Fern Burn Club starting at 7:30pm.

This year, please bring your pumpkins to the red tent under the tower for tea lights and placement. (Wagons and strollers work well for transporting heavy pumpkins).

Be sure to take note of the number of your favourite pumpkin, because for a $1 donation you can vote for the winner of the “People’s Choice” prize. The winner will receive a fabulous gift pack from a local business!

Pumpkins will be lined up along the paths in Summit Park. If enough neighbours bring pumpkins, they will stretch all the way through the park!

Come back after school on Nov 2nd for the Great Pumpkin Roll! Summit Avenue will be closed off from the Reservoir parking lot down to Cook Street, with hay bales placed at the bottom. Grab a pumpkin, and roll it down the hill in the most fun activity of the fall season!
