I agree. Classes can be scary. Just remember to take all info with a grain of salt. I remember it being drilled into me in the Camosun class - wake your newborn baby every 3 hrs to feed - the nurses said so too! Sure. I did that and my milk wasn't in yet so all I had was a crying, hungry, very much ...

I heard that on CFAX 1070 today (Jan 20th) some time between 3 p.m and 7 p.m. there will be a skin specialist talking about skin issues and warts and you can phone in and ask questions. Maybe at 3 they'll announce exactly what time.

Just want to say that if you rinse out staining food eg tomato sauce with cold water before washing it reduces staining. Staining mainly happens when hot sauce in tupperware.

Anyplace with a nice sunny white sand beach, palm trees and waves and a crystal clean pool :D

I've done the Safari thing in South Africa - not a tour but in our own vehicle - staying in the safari park and absolutely loved it - but I'd never enjoy that much car time now I have a kid!

I've been through the same thing. Sore throat for a week - escalating into a major sore throat - post nasal drip - cough and tickle keeping you up all night. My little guy is sick now too. It's not strep throat (which I've had twice). Strep throat is a major sore throat that is really bad pretty muc...

We used bumper pads. Put baby to sleep on back though - stomach not as safe. I read somewhere that bumper pads restrict air flow around baby - but what about the plastic sides on the bassinets at the hospital?? I didn't worry as room has outside vent and lots of airflow. My son would get his feet st...

I used one of the plain baby baths with the stand with the material on. - When he got to wide so I thought the stand was no longer comfortable - you can get a sponge cushion with the head higher than the feet to fit in - it can also be used in the regular bathtub so when baby is bigger there is more...

Re: Family Freezer Meal ideas

Technically canned & fresh foods are your best bets in a power outage as you won't want to open your freezer in case it's an extended outage. Always keep a good supply of canned foods/pasta even if it's not a usual item for your meals.

Re: Quadriplegic question

not quite what you are looking for but I would look at victoria disabled sailing. We test athletes the same age as this man who have won medals at the olympics. They live their lives to the fullest and put most to shame :) I mentioned this to her and she was really happy to hear that he'd probably ...

Re: Rant at carsickness!

Yeah - I also get it if I'm not in the front. Unfortunately because of where we live it's a windy long route to school - or anywhere for that matter. Mostly in the morning though so I've tried switching to apple juice instead of milk for breakfast - but it didn't help (though the after effects weren...
