Help - my DD's going to be disappointed

Postby OnceHarmony on Mon Jul 23, 2012 2:16 pm

My DD will be disappointed over something today and I want to think of something fun to do tonight that will help her learn how to self-heal from disappointment and it can't involve shopping. Eating is okay but no shopping. Any ideas would be most appreciated. Thanks. :)

The Victoria International Buskers Festival!!'

Lots of action and vibrancy downtown right now :)

Last night we went to watch Les Vitamines. They are from Quebec City and have been involved with The Cirque De Soliel. A fair amount of comedy and acrobatics. FANTASTIC show! My 2 boys got up to do the intro show in front of over 200 people (5 kids came up). I was so proud of them. They both did a break dance -ish routine and my 3 year old won by crowd applause!

The buskers' festival was so much fun last year! What a great suggestion.

Thanks everyone.

Well, my DD is obviously more resilient then I give her credit for. She didn't bat an eye. Maybe the ice cream I brought home helped. It sure helped me with my needless worrying. :D
