Do you mind if I share a proud parenting moment?

by Letters from Santa
After weeks of nudging my newly 5-year-old to think of what she would like for Christmas and write to Santa, she sat chin on hands beside me yesterday and said "I have enough, Mama. I don't need anything".

Then her face brightened "I know!" she said "(NAME)! She only has a few things - I'm going to ask Santa to bring her some toys!" And she did.

For 20 minutes she sat and painstakingly wrote a Letter to Santa asking for toys for somebody else. Not one word about herself! I am so very proud of her!

I don't blame you for being proud. What a wonderful 5 year old! Great story and thanks for sharing----I needed a bit of an uplift this morning.

Awesome!

Our goal is to raise community mind adults and it's so lovely to see children think of others before themselves.
