Acting out?

Postby Mommyinthesun on Wed Mar 27, 2013 11:40 am

Lately my daughter has begun to talk really meanly to me. I don't understand why either.I spend more time with her then her dad or her step dad does but she talks bad to me. I've started putting her in time out more often because I don't want her to feel its okay to talk to me like that. She does it at random with out a temper so i'm wondering if there is anything else i can do to make it stop other then time outs?

Kids behave that way with the person they feel closest to. The person they know will love them unconditionally, and will always be there for them no matter what. Sucks to be that person at times, but very rewarding overall :)
Is your DD having to "hold it in" elsewhere, say at her Dad's house?
