My old yearbooks and DD

Postby OnceHarmony on Sun Jul 21, 2013 10:38 pm

So I kept my old yearbooks and I've carried them around with me wherever I moved wondering the whole time why I was taking them with me but never getting rid of them. Now I know why. It was to amuse my DD. She has spent ages going over them and laughs at the pictures of me in them. It's no wonder why I had no dates in high school.

I did the same thing with my dad's yearbook when I was a kid. His was from around 1960 or so and that sure seemed ancient when I was a teenager. Now my kids look at my yearbooks the same way even though my high school memories are so vivid its like they just happened.
