Hi there,

A friend of mine has 2 year old daughter and as part of his parenting agreement needs to attend a child safety course. He has taken toddler first aid and parenting after separation, and is having trouble finding a course suitable to the child's mother.

Any ideas are welcome. Thank you for your help.

Victoria CCRR (Child Care Resource and Referral) will be helpful in providing info about courses.
Their ph # is: (250) 382-7000

Also Public Health would be another contact for referral to courses:

The Boys and Girls Club also offers several parenting courses and support groups:

Triple P Parenting Courses:

Victoria Single Parent Resource Centre offers many courses, workshops and support groups and info:

As well, most of the Community Centres (such as Estquimalt Community House; Burnside Gorge Centre etc) offer parenting workshops and support/courses.

Red Cross and St John's Ambulance both offer child safety courses.
