I want one, but not sure if I'll use it much. What do YOU make? (besides smoothies!)

I have used th vitamix for:
- making coconut butter (blend dried coconut until it's liquid - so cool!)
- making fruit syrups for pancakes (blends at high speed and cooks the sugar)
- making soup ( again, it spins so fast it cooks the food) be honest I usually just make smoothies....really only one type of smoothie....but it's SO good! I'm going to share the recipe, in case you do get one (maybe you can make it in another blend, I don't know....but it's super easy in the vitamix!)

- one large frozen banana
- 1-2 tbsp high quality cocoa
- 1 tbsp cashew butter (or other nut butter)
- handful of oats
- 1-2 ice cubes
- almond milk to cover all

I've never had a lump to deal with, and I'm sure if my girls (4.5, 2.5, 1) had any I would hear about it). We have this nearly every morning, and honestly the reason we do is because it is SO easy to clean. If I had to do more than blend water and a drop of dish soap there is no way we would have smoothies more than once a week. Our old blender was mint. (healthy dessert website - and actually healthy, not just healthified, and actually delicious) uses her vitamix for a lot of recipes.

So, um.....I recommend it. :P
