KIV Team is Registered!

Well the team is registered, and we are now ready to get everyone added to the list.

There have been quite a few changes this year with the race, and the registration process, so please bear with me as we figure this out.

Last year each individual team member was responsible for his or her own registration and race payment - unless you were part of a clinic. If you were part of a clinic, there was an extra $5 charge for your t-shirt, which I payed for.

This year will be much the same, with a few important changes.

This year the organizers have raised the entry price for runners/walkers who are part of a team. That means it now costs team members $30 to enter rather than the $25 it costs individuals. :?

What I've decided to do, is cover that rise in cost myself, so that it doesn't cost any of you, more to join the Kids In Victoria team than it would have just to enter as an individual.

I will also still cover the extra cost of a t-shirt for anyone already entered in (or entering) a clinic.

So, here's what needs to happen now

1) Each of you wishing to be on the team, now needs to actually register (and pay) with the organizers of the race. There are three ways to register, and you can get information here:

Make sure you choose the Kids In Victoria team, whether registering online, in person, or via mail

2) If you have registered in person, with a clinic, or via mail, you need to email me and let me know you have done so. I need a master list to ensure all team members have t-shirts, so this is very important!

3) Near race day we will have a time set up so everyone may pick up their race packages (t-shirts, timing piece, and race #), and at that time I will reimburse all team members the extra $5 paid upon entry.

I think that's about it for now, and I hope this is not too confusing.

Oh, and it is true about the Early Bird Entry Fee

until Jan 31/06 - $30 / entry

after Jan 31/06 - $35 / entry.

Just to clarify one thing:

Not in a clinic
If you don't join a clinic and do it yourself, then register for this team under KIV with the TC... you get a KIV t-shirt. Total cost $30 or $35, with $5 refund from Justin.

In a clinic
If you join a clinic , and then register for this team, you get 2 t-shirts: a training t-shirt and the KIV t-shirt. Total cost is $100, with $5 refund from Justin.
