Cab driver found guilty of sexual assault in Victoria

Postby quest on Fri Dec 16, 2016 10:54 pm

Is anyone else as out raged as I am ?
That a driver for yellow cab found guilty of sexually assaulting a drunk young woman
in his cab is still allowed to drive cab .
Mr. Bhangu was sentenced to six months in prison and is still able to drive with slight restrictions where and when he can drive .
Have we all gone crackers ,what a slap in the face.
Shame on you yellow cab for even allowing a driver convicted of sexually assaulting a female passenger to drive for you at all .
What's wrong with you !
A taxi is meant to be a safe haven.
Baljinderjit Bhangu charged her the fare and kept her in the cab 90 more minutes.
He blocked the camera after he started .
How unsafe we need to change the law convinced sex offenders should not be allowed to drive cabs .
I will never use yellow cab again .

I'm outraged, horrified and heart broken.

As the mom of a girl... no, just as a human being this makes me horrified, outraged and heart broken.

What is happening with the world?

I will NEVER give any business to Yellow Cabs EVER again.

and I was once again shocked and horrified to read about this judge.

"A judge who came under fire from Alberta’s appeal court for ruling a rape complainant in a sexual assault case consented after tiring from fighting off her attacker has decided to take early retirement."

http://news.nationalpost.com/news/canad ... retirement

and as much as we women may want to give up reporting these assaults we need to continue to because we need to push and push and push society and bad judges until stuff like this no longer happens. We can only weed them out as we expose them and we can only expose them as we report.

Yellow cab rescinded and let him go .
They still won't have my business for the fact they made arrangements to have him still work for him .
I don't think yellow cab is intitled to my money .
I don't feel valued as a female customer or that my safety would be a concern.

I get the feeling that the judge was given a choice. Be called up before an ethics commitee or retire and he choose retirement.

I will still never give Yellow Cabs my business for the same reasons. Too little, too late.
