Antiperspirant v deodorant

At what age should they switch?

Thinking deodorant is still somewhat successful... when it is actually applied LOL

We use the salt deodorant and find it very effective. It kills the bacteria rather than masking it. It doesn't work for perspiration but it does for smell. It is even in Walmart now.
Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren't used to an environment where excellence is expected.

We also use the salt based or home-made deodorant for our child. Some people never require antiperspirants or they may only require them occasionally (such as during a stressful event or very high exercise regime) so I would wait to see if one is needed. Some amount of perspiring is required and "natural" and would only need to be addressed if it is excessive.

If a antiperspirant is not needed I would stay with the deodorant, heard it's much better for the skin anyway.

Cannot recommend Dr. Mist enough - it has allowed me to no longer use antiperspirant and just use this 'deodorant'. You can get it at London Drugs - in lavender or unscented (recommend unscented). AMAZING.
