Fear of pregnancy

I'm interested in hearing from women who had (or have?) an intense terror of pregnancy and childbirth, but decided to get pregnant anyway. How did you cope with this fear?

Do not be afraid! When you feel a new life under your heart, you can overcome any fear. And there is nothing stronger than to feel the warmth of a newborn!

Yes, I think that too. There is something about the actual pregnancy and the state you are in before it. It is very hard to explain.
