Gorge Waterway Cleanup
Selkirk Green Park | 360 Waterfront Crescent Victoria
FREE!
Every September, the Burnside Gorge Community Association hosts the Gorge Waterway Cleanup to remove debris from along the Gorge waterway. Every year, volunteers pitch in to clean up the water and shoreline along the Gorge. This improves the habitat for local wildlife and the look of the area for local residents and community members. We invite everyone to participate in this important event. Volunteers will clean the shoreline along the Gorge Waterway and a volunteer dive team will retrieve debris from the ocean floor. Bring your own boots and gloves if you can or borrow ours. Make a difference to your local environment by participating in the annual Gorge Waterway Cleanup! If you are interested in participating in this great event as a volunteer, a participating group or a community sponsor, please get in touch!.
