'Tis the season for holiday craft fairs and the 39th Annual Dickens Fair is decking the halls! Presented by the James Bay Market Society, the Dickens Fair features more than 60 Vancouver Island artisans, a cafe and children's activities..
more info
Celebrating its 39th year in 2019, the Dickens Fair is one of Victoria’s oldest and best-loved Holiday craft fairs. Our curated Vancouver Island artisans offer a great variety of handmade and homemade products at affordable prices.
The Dickens Fair is getting ready to “Deck the Halls” and we’d love to have you join us. With more than 60 vendors there will be something for everyone!
Enter a wonderland of treasures, from toys to jewelry, fashion, and food, and choose uniquely crafted holiday gifts for your family and friends. Hosted by the James Bay Market Society, the Dickens Fair provides an opportunity to meet and support local artisans, hear their stories and learn first-hand how they make, bake and craft their wares.
You will recognize your favourite James Bay Community Market vendors. There are also many new-to-you vendors showcasing their work at the Dickens Fair for the first time. The variety and quality will impress the most discerning shoppers.
Bring the whole family! The Dickens Café serves baked goods and snacks, and lunch items created with locally sourced ingredients. Tea and coffee are served all day to help take the chill off. Meanwhile the children can “chill” in the Children’s Creation Zone where they can create a one-of-a-kind treasure of their own.
We hope to see you at the Fair!
