Canadian Parents for French is a parent-led, non-profit organization that has worked for more than 30 years to provide French-language education, social, cultural and sporting activities for children, youth and parents.
CPF Victoria is your local voice in support of quality French language instruction for our children. In addition to representing the views and concerns of Victoria parents on the School District 61 French Advisory Committee, CPF Victoria hosts and sponsors events and activities throughout the year such as the Cinefete film festival, the Concours d’Art Oratoire French public speaking competition, French camps and more.
Through local chapters like Victoria, CPF provides support, information and resources for parents with children studying French, whether through an immersion, intensive or basic French program. CPF works with school boards, teachers, parent advisory councils and the federal and provincial governments to advocate for and monitor policies and programs that affect the access to and quality of our children’s French language education.
