FIVE Behaviour and Education Consulting Services Inc., provides services to support the development of adaptive behaviour (communication, social skills, daily living skills) for children and youth with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and other developmental disabilities including ADHD. FIVE works with families to develop a customized plan to increase skills while decreasing behaviours that may interfere with community inclusion or family life. We provide services in family homes, preschools or daycares. We believe that working in the setting in which the children spend their days improves skill transfer, training and supports. 

We are comprised of experienced professionals and paraprofessionals working in the field of applied behaviour analysis and special education. Our Behaviour Analysts are Board Certified (BCBA’s) and are RASP A qualified for families seeking services using Early Intervention funding from the province. We provide early intervention, school age services and transition planning for teens including support with building resumes and finding jobs. If your child needs extra support with tutoring or academic skill development such as literacy development or written output, FIVE’s consultants can help your child develop these critical skills using evidence based practice.  

FIVE represents the values of the individuals who have dedicated themselves to the field of social services – those of honesty, integrity cooperation, transparency and commitment. Our goal is to support each family using these values, together with evidence based practice, to provide the best possible services to support the individual receiving services and their family. We provide services from Duncan to Sooke to Greater Victoria and Saanich. 

FIVE believes in giving back to the community, to this end we have developed a Community Investment plan (see our website for more details). Some of our goals include hiring of adults with developmental disabilities by “carving out” paid employment positions and volunteering in the community.
