    Spring Break Camp

Monday, March 21st to Friday, March 25th, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Our Spring Break Riding Camp is perfect for riders of all levels from age 7 yrs and older.  Daily one hour riding lessons, trail rides through adjacent Horth Hill Park, cart driving with our Miniature Horses, horse handling skills make our camp unique and fun!

To ensure a high level of safety and an enhanced learning environment for our beginner level riders, each rider is paired with an experienced assistant whenever riding or handling the horses on the ground.  Trail riding is done on a lead line.

Riders with experience are able to increase their knowledge and skill level on the flat and, if appropriate, over fences.  Lessons are structured to meet the requirements and level of experience of the rider.

All lessons are held in our spacious, dry indoor ring.

Enrolment is limited to ensure each rider receives ample attention. Email or phone Kathy at 250-544-0737 to register for Christmas Camp.  $300/person + hst.

    Beginner Lessons – Children’s Program

    IT’S NOT A VIDEO GAME!

Far from it, in fact.  Riding horses involves dealing with another living creature, and it takes a lot more than knowing which button to push to learn to do it well.  Riding could be a life long interest for your child, and along the way it will teach patience, perseverance, confidence, poise, responsibility, problem solving and much more.  Riding is also great fun, good exercise, inspirational, and it contributes to a healthy self esteem.

At Harrison School of Horsemanship, we specialize in first timers, novices, nervous riders, and nervous parents, too!  Call Kathy Harrison now to arrange for a tour of our first class facility, to meet Kathy and the horses, and to arrange a complimentary introductory lesson.

Email or phone Kathy at 250-544-0737,  to register for your complimentary introductory lesson.
