    What We Do

Since 1988 years Viva Choirs have existed to enrich the lives of the singers, their families and the Greater Victoria community.  We welcome all between the ages of 7 and 22 who wish to sing. Children age 7-13 join Viva with just a brief interview to ascertain the appropriate group (Da Capo and Crescendo ensembles). Singers aged 14-22 can audition to join Concerto. Viva choristerers experience the beauty of music, and bring joy to themselves and their audiences; they develop commitment, confidence and self-discipline as they attain excellence. Groups have been honoured repeatedly in local and international festivals. Repertoire focuses on international folk and classical music in an exciting variety of languages and styles.
